Woodside Hall

Woodside Hall, an imposing three-story brick structure, was built by Thomas Kinney in the 1880s. He was the founder of the Newark Advertiser. The property was later acquired by the Frelinghuysen's, and the building was used for staff housing and also used as a gymnasium for the older boys. The building was razed in the 1940s.
