Oakhurst Feed and Grain Store
This hardware store on the corner of Monmouth Road and Park Avenue served for many years as the local feed and grain store when there were horses, chickens, and livestock to be fed. It is told that over the years, the spacious second floor was also used for dancing and to store caskets. Although the store saw many owners who tried different enterprises, the feed and grain business has evolved most successfully into a hardware store.
