The Ryan Playhouse was built by Judge Ryan on his estate, The Orchards, for his only child, Rosemary Ryan. It had electricity and running water. In 1985, the playhouse was donated to the Township of Ocean Historical Museum by the Greco family. It was moved to the Museum at 163 Monmouth Rd as an Eagle Scout project, where it stayed until Oct. 2008. It was then moved to its current location next to the Museum and was the subject of another Eagle Scout Project. The most recent Eagle Scout Project, restoring the siding and the fence, has just recently been completed.
